Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Andrea “Dre” De Leon brought her creative vision to Austin in 2011. Inspired by the city’s unmistakable energy, individuality, and artistic culture, Austin became the canvas where she could push boundaries, experiment, and create beauty on her own terms.

“Always inspired by my surroundings, Austin, TX gave me an outlet to push my artistic boundaries. Every client is multifaceted in their beauty, and my goal is to enhance every experience through a collective vision of creativity.”

That philosophy became the foundation of Vixen Artistry.

Vixen Artistry is more than hair and makeup—it’s an experience built around individual expression, confidence, and unapologetic beauty. Andrea believes there is no single definition of beautiful. Every person brings their own story, personality, energy, and aesthetic to the chair, and her artistry is about translating that individuality into a look that feels distinctly you.

With an eye for detail and a passion for transformation, Andrea approaches every client as a canvas. Whether the vision is polished and timeless, bold and editorial, effortlessly natural, or completely outside the box, she brings creativity and intention to every detail.

FROM THE CHAIR TO THE SCREEN

Andrea’s artistry extends beyond the studio and into the world of film production. As a Hair Department Head, Key Hairstylist, and Makeup Artist, she is also a member of I.A.T.S.E. Texas/Oklahoma Local 484. She has worked behind the scenes on numerous Television shows, feature films, commercials, and as a local artist for traveling Broadway shows at the Bass Concert Hall in the heart of the University of Texas.

Andrea has also studied in London, UK, at The Wig and Makeup Studio to learn the art of wig making, re-fronting, and ventilating.

That experience has shaped her ability to create beauty that not only looks incredible in person, but translates under lights, on camera, on stage, and in every unforgettable moment.
